The easiest way to avoid heavy pesticide consumption is by buying organic, but that isn't always possible or affordable. When composing your grocery list or heading to the store, have a list of the dirty 12 & clean 15 on hand. When feasible, try to go organic when purchasing the dirty dozen and save money by buying conventional with the clean fifteen!
